I have never seen a bigger pack of pssies than the penguins anywhere.
Nice dive by the goalie. A cross check penalty should have been called instead of one on Hartnel.
Then for the 2nd game in a row against this bunch of crying scum, a goal is taken from the Flyers and another power play given.
Never saw so much biased officiating in just 1 period.
Cindy needs to go on on a medivac transport.

The Flyers and their loser fans won't be able to complain about the refs today. They got a lot of nice calls all going their way.
Bottom-line is they are simply not as good as the Pens (even with the Pens back-up btw the pipes), and will never be as long as the Pens have Crosby and Malkin in their lineup.

2-0 Flyers IS the score. This is the 2nd time in 2 games the Ref's screwed them.
This joke of a league panders to that pssy crysby. It's disgusting what Betman allows.
According to the announcers there's only 1 player on the ice.

Simon Gagne cost the Flyers 2 pts today....awful game. 6 PIM's, negated a goal by Richards and his penalty lead to a PP goal for Pitt. DUMB, DUMB, DUMB! He also blew several scoring chances. Why not give Asham some PP time? The Flyer kept rolling out the same 2 lines that were not getting it done, try to mix it up a bit. Laviolette looked more like andy reid today. DUMB!

Flyers lost for two reasons, they missed the net about 100 times on good scoring chances and the refs just can't resist helping the Penguins. It happens night after night. The Pens get a lot of calls and get away with a lot of non-calls. TH1. I agree with you about Gagne. He was awful today.

First of all the Flyers played a good game considering they played a game just yesterday while the Pens rested. I do think the Flyers deserved at least a point in this one.......What was that call on Giroux? that was a complete joke, and how bout cooke chickening out on Asham?

Some more time will go by until the Flyers are able to beat the Penguins. The Flyers are playing better, but still not good enough. Who knows what will happen with the olympics...an unusual interruption in the season. So maybe not this year, either.

Back in school, when we complained the other team beat us because the refs were bad,our athletic director told us "No,we lost because the other team put the ball in the basket more than we did." well the same thing is true in hockey-the Pens put more pucks in the net than we did.You can't blame refereeing. And by the way OLDHAT,maybe Cooke was playing smart.Wanting us to win fights is NOT more important than winning. That kind of thinking is why we have been been in this mess all these years. As long as Clarke is here it will never change although this coach is the first one not to buy into that archaic thinking.

colkurtz doesn't think there is much of a difference between the two teams....what f'ing planet is he on?
they've eliminated the Flyers two years in a row....with kids (Crosby, Malkin and Staal) that are younger than most Flyers. What more proof do you need?

StP....the games are more competitive. I believe the Penguins are better, make no mistake...but the Flyers are better than last year's playoffs. The season progresses.
