Does this look like the resume of a goalie who can bring the Stanley Cup back to Philly? Traded to Buffalo by Chicago for Milan Bartovic, October 4, 2005. Signed as a free agent by Anaheim, July 13, 2006. Claimed on waivers by Nashville from Anaheim, November 27, 2006. Claimed on waivers by Philadelphia from Nashville, January 11, 2007. Claimed on waivers by Montreal from Philadelphia, February 27, 2007. Traded to Carolina by Montreal for Carolina's 7th round choice (Scott Kishel) in 2007 Entry Draft, June 23, 2007. The Hawks didn't think so either in 2005.

Hey happy Hawks fan, everyone has a different road that leads to a different destiny, don't worry, Michael Leighton will be fine. You need to worry about how your going to sign all your young talent cause after this year, if you don't win it all, your done, back to the old terrible Blackhawks for years to come!
    Fabulous

Fab: We will win, but will still have to deal salary cap issues. The advantage is that we have crazy depth and can unload some salary, keep the core intact and will still end up back in the SCF. The team, ownership and management are much different than in years past. They know they need to win to make money and they will. Yep, the Flyers will lose, and Leighton will end up being the number two goalie. I'd even wager that he'll be back to #2 by game four.

If the Hawks win Game 3 and the Flyers facing a whitewash in Game 4, will Flyers fans be more, or less, inclined to attend Game 4?

cnote and HHF: how pathetic do you have to be to troll an opponent's website and post comments? you're two sad and lonely people. you should meet up with each other in a rest stop bathroom somewhere.

Hawks 719, how can a fan of a city that has a baseball team that has gone over 100 years without a championship call another city "chokers?" And the last time the Cubs were close, they choked and blamed it on a guy trying to catch a foul ball! And you're gloating about winning both games against the Flyers by a goal? Just wipe the sweat off your brow and be happy for your team. You've twice beaten a team that needed several miracles just to get here. By one goal each game. At home! I'm thoroughly unimpressed with Chicago so far. All the hype about how they've been among the elite all season, and two one-goal victories over the orange-and-black-miracles is the best they can do? The more you Hawks fans run your fingers on our boards, the more you expose your lack of hockey experience. Really amusing that Chicago didn't even know they had a team after Roenick left, and now everyone's a Hawks fan. Enjoy the ride, bandwagoneers. It's like the Bulls all over again.

Hey monkey, are you saying the Flyers have run out of miracles because the Blackhawks are.

2 One goal victories. It's doesn't matter how they got there, they won 2 games at home. When we do the same, it'll be a series again. I fully expect it to happen. We get the last change, crowd momentum. If Chicago truly is the better team, they will prove it in Philly. All they've done is hold serve, in unimpressive fashion. I've seen two competitive games with the better team (over 60 minutes) winning both, but not by enough to call this over in 4 or 5 games. GO FLYERS!!!

Hey Raggamonkey, i'm a sox fan, so Cubs can go another 100 years for all i care. Bulls? Who cares about the nba ... and you're right, this city didn't know hockey five years ago. But guess what? The team is back, we have a great owner thank God because the old man died. You can't say Philly needed miracles to be where they are at. They are a good team. Yes, needed to come back 0-3 v.s. Beantown and last day of the season. But they're solid. I'm just giving you grief. They had what? the 7th best record after the all star break, and i think the Hawks had the 3rd. I just think the Hawks have a deeper bench and that seems to be the key right now, because the Hawks first line isn't doing anything. I was just hoping for a good series, and we're getting it. Side note. Met Darroll Powe's dad Saturday night at the game. He was with about 5-6 other Flyer fans/family wearing jerseys. Nice guy.
