LAS VEGAS - Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren is denying reports from Canada that the team has an agreement in place with goalie Ilya Bryzgalov with 7 years and $50 million.

"Rumors are rumors," Holmgren said. "We are continuing to try and reach an agreement with Ilya but it is safe to say that we are not close to achieving this."

Rogers Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada both reported the agreement.

Yikes I hope that report isn't true 7 yrs at 50 mil is a bit much. Would absolutely have to trade a big piece to get under the cap. I'm comfortable with 5.5 or 6 mil a year.
