Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo out indefinitely with left high ankle sprain
TORONTO -- The Flyers' long injury list got a bit longer on Thursday, with the addition of forward Zac Rinaldo.
General manager Paul Holmgren announced Thursday that Rinaldo will be out indefinitely with a left high ankle sprain. Rinaldo left Wednesday night's win over Montreal with the injury.
Danny Briere (concussion), Andrej Meszaros (shoulder), Braydon Coburn (shoulder) are all also out indefinitely. Holmgren declared officially that Max Talbot's season is over thanks to a broken left leg.
Forward Jay Rosehill, acquired in a minor trade on Monday from Anaheim, will make his Flyers debut Thursday night at Air Canada Centre. Rosehill has played all 72 of his career NHL games for the Maple Leafs.
Rinaldo did not make the trip to Toronto.

This stinks...this kid is awesome. Get well.. Phillyfan666- You're pathetic justatroll. Trolling doesn't have to be from another city, you clown. You come here without a point of view, but as a provocateur, to foment dissension, because you don't own a dog to kick, or have a wife to beat.
So we have to read your cry for attention pablum.
By the genius, you couldn't match wits with me with half a brain, half-wit.
Why give this clown so much attention (i write this thinking i am now doing the same). Rinaldo, with his spirited play on a consistent basis, penchant for drawing penalties not taking them, and hitting anything that moves has been, until this 4 game winning streak, the best thing about the season.
I thought he should have been promoted to an assistant captain a month ago for his play. Maybe that would have gotten the team's attention. I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem calling guys out for lackluster effort either.
Get well Zack. DG3
OH NO Zack what a shame hewas having a great season. Let hope he gets back soon. srcdaddy1216
What has not been mentioned was that he was slugged in the face on the play by some piece of Canadians garbage and that contributed to the injury
I was there and saw it along with 19000 others but the 2 refs who were fixing the game for the Habs in the first period with 4 straight calls against the Flyers ignored it. Pro Refs in hockey are all garbage controlled by Bettman and their backwards upbringing as failed players Steelmanpa
Have to give the remaining flyers credit for hanging in there despite all of these injuries. Would rather see them tank and get some good draft pix since there is no chance for a legitimate cup run this year......... bigdaddyG
