Flyers announce Winter Classic alumni roster

The Flyers announced their roster for the Winter Classic alumni game vs. the New York Rangers on Dec. 31 at Citizens Bank Park.

Here is the roster:

    Awesome roster. A bit of a surprise in goal, expected Roussel, I believe he has done alumni events for them in recent history. Rangers one looks good too, but Gretzky should have played, that family commitment thing sounds bogus, how about give back to the fans a bit.

    @dpcoz because there is a camera there. Also, even though it was only 4 years, Roenick loved it here and was a great Flyer.

    @Kraymehr - Renberg is a colorman for some league back in Sweden apparently and supposedly he can't get leave to come over and play.

    Jim Dowd? Bet the fans will be lining up to see him. I agree with the above posts that the Flyers goaltenders don't represent much.
