Carcillo suspended four games

Flyers forward Dan Carcillo has been suspended four games by the NHL for his hit on the Capitals' Matt Bradley is a game Saturday night at the Wachovia Center.

After the altercation, the Capitals had a 9-minute power play. The Flyers lost, 8-2, in coach Peter Laviolette's debut behind Philadelphia's bench.

"Decisions come down from the league, do I agree with them all, no. I certainly do not agree with this one," general manager Paul Holmgren said in statement. "We do not have a lot of recourse in this situation, Dan will serve his suspension and we will move on."

The Flyers said they will have no further comment regarding this suspension.
