He got that right

Andy Reid called the Eagles' 48-22 loss to the New Orleans Saints "an absolutely horrendous performance."

Andy Reid called the Eagles' 48-22 loss to the New Orleans Saints "an absolutely horrendous performance." Wow, was he right. The defense gave up 463 yards and the second most points of the Andy Reid era. After the game, Reid blasted all three phases of the game. "That's my responsibility," he said. "That's my football team."

Reid said that Kevin Kolb handled the blitz package well and thought Kolb probably would like a couple plays back. If Donovan McNabb can't play next week against Kansas City, Reid said that Kolb will be the starter.

On the injury front, Brian Westbrook sprained his right ankle. He said it happened some time during the third quarter. DeSean Jackson has a groin strain. Jackson said the injury was nagging him throughout practice last week.

Reid said that he limited Stacy Andrews' snaps because he's not convinced Andrews can plant his leg properly after offseason knee surgery. Andrews said he thought he didn't get on the field much because of technique issues.

Quintin Mikell on the Kolb: "I felt bad. We put him in a bad position. ... We got our butts kicked out there."
