What a day for the offense. With McNabb and Co. on the sideline, the Eagles have scored 14 points. Talk about a cushion. That's like giving Brad Lidge a 10-run lead. Well, maybe.

DeSean Jackson's 85-yard punt return was a thing of beauty. He got key blocks from Sheldon Brown and Jason Avant, easily avoided the Panthers' punter and outran everyone else into the end zone to give the Eagles a 17-7 lead. It's a big lift from a player who is able to score at any moment.
