Kaitlin Lunny of the fine blog I Can Cook That weighs in with a seasonal recipe for pumpkin eggnog that incorporates an old-fashioned recipe from the 1860s "Cookbook of Ellen M Emlen" with newfangled Pinnacle spiced vodka.
