Yards' PYNK: Ale raising money for breast cancer

Get it while it’s PYNK!

Yards Brewing has issued a limited seasonal release of PYNK, a tart berry ale.

Each batch is brewed with more than 3,000 pounds of fresh raspberries and sour and sweet cherries. The addition of fruit prior to fermentation makes this crisp, clean ale tart rather than sweet.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Yards will donate $1 from each case of PYNK sold to the Tyanna Foundation, the founders of Breast Fest. The Tyanna Foundation supports local organizations throughout the Mid-Atlantic to treat and care for breast cancer patients. Yards will also be hosting “The PYNK Affair” in conjunction with Little Baby’s Ice Cream and Weezer cover band, Freezer, on Oct. 4 in its tasting room to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds will benefit The Tyanna Foundation.
