Vince Papale to sell Eagles wine
Vince Papale, who as a walk-on candidate landed a short but notable career in the 1970s with the Eagles, will sign pre-purchased bottles from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection Store, 2040 Market St.
The Eagles commissioned winemaker Samuel Spencer and Napa's Cameron Hughes Winery to create a wine to mark the team's 80th anniversary, and the result is Rollout cabernet sauvignon, a 2011.
