The 10 most booked restaurants
OpenTable, whose online reservation system books many tables in town, has released its March stats.
The most-booked restaurant in town, acording to OpenTable, is not some flavor-of-the-month. It's been around Rittenhouse Square for nearly five years.
And while so many critics point out that Philadelphians care only about fat and carbs, the second-most-booked restaurant is a chain that advertises calorie-controlled portions.

Philly.com has fallen in love with the slideshow news article. The slideshow is a last ditch effort as it artificially inflates page views. superturtle- Indeed. Quality news outlets (WSJ, NYTimes, The Atlantic, etc.) have found a way to be profitable by providing outstanding news coverage and insightful features and opinion pieces. The Philly rags on the other hand have decided they'd rather resort to "tricking" their readership than providing quality output.
#1 With A Bullet
holy slow loading times. thanks, #1. b3n222
Thanks for posting the list. After the slow pictures download I never wait around to see any of their complete lists. farley
wonder if it number of nights the restaurant is 100% booked or number of tables booked. hooded_crow
what a surprise - a bunch of suburbanite favorites. they are like flies drawn to the swatter. Fascism Rules
Looks to me like more of the overpriced and whatever it is yuppies are these days (is it still idiots as it always has been?)
Chains automatically stink! BEMiller
MOre 'burb bashing....Dandelion is not all that expensive and has a great beer selection... Lil Bobby
hooded_crow - its probably neither. It's OpenTable figures. So it's number of tables booked through opentable. If the restaurant isnt an opentable partner, that number is zero. If the restaurant doesnt make all available reservations on opentable (e.g., if there are 10 tables available to reserve each night and only 5 are made available to opentable, then the max number is 5 for this ranking even if all 10 are booked). Lastly, as evidenced by the ridiculously not hot restaurants on this list that are merely large spaces, it is based on numbers not on percentage of capacity or difficulty to get a table.
I fully understand that philly.com has represented that there is no distinction between number of tables booked on opentable and difficulty in securing a reservation, but that misunderstanding is not deliberate in my opinion, it's just par for the course at this site. p
Oh, quit your bashing. Seasons 52 and Redstone have perhaps the best bar scenes for the over-30 crowd anywhere. I'll take a good piano bar and a nice glass of cabernet anyday. SouthPhillyRolls
where were you an two hours ago #1 with a bullet? lol. i like redstone grill's menu the best. they have buffalo shrimp, steak and seafood. traditional american food and not the pretty stuff that doesn't fill you up. black dog- Many of the doctor's plastic surgery patients dine along the sidwalks of Rittenhouse Square on a lovely spring afternoon. they want people to see what plastic surgery has done for them. Doctor is offering a 10% discount on the latest platysma neck left through April.
Nice headline and then you get a slideshow. Forget it. I'd expect it out of infinity online but for Philly.com it is a low. Race baiting "top stories" and slideshows show no creativity and enhance the desire of the user for more online Philadelphia sites. psubrian
And in NYC, Budakan is the 2nd most booked restaurant. NotADoneDeal
these list, best of, and top 10 20 or whatever is getting really tired. I think philly.com has thoroughly covered all there is to report about the restaurant scene. Gradhospital
