Sunday brunch in Queen Village to benefit Bainbridge Green
The Friends of Bainbridge Green, South Street Headhouse District, and Queen Village Neighbors Association have enlisted chefs and restaurants from the neighborhood to cook and serve during a family-friendly event.
A bunch of Queen Village people want to turn the stretch of Bainbridge Street between Third and Fifth Streets into a public space called Bainbridge Green.
Among them: Jason Chiconski from Ela, Chris D'Ambro from Southwark and Ambra, Jeremy Nolen from Whetstone, Scott Schroeder, from Hungry Pigeon, The Good King Tavern, South Street Bagels, Kanella, Sabrina's Cafe and Plenty Cafe.
Stateside Distilling and 13th Street Cocktails will create cocktails, Little Bird Bakery will offer dessert, and Ox Coffee will pour coffee.
Tickets are $25 for students (4 food tickets + bottomless coffee), $35 for an individual (5 food tickets + 1 drink ticket + bottomless coffee), $70 for a family (12 food tickets + 2 drink tickets + bottomless coffee), and $150 for a VIP ticket (reserved seating with private chef tasting + 2 drink tickets + bottomless coffee from 10 to 11 a.m.).
