Chef Pat Cancelliere shut down his Italian Market BYOB, 943, a year ago, depriving fanciers of his rustic Italian/Argentinian cuisine.
On March 26 at 7 p.m., Cancelliere - now on the line at Route 6 - will cook a pop-up dinner at the Tap Room on 19th in South Philadelphia.
Menu - perusable here - reads like a greatest-hits parade, starting with grilled pulpo, segueing into empanadas, and then mollejas (grilled sweetbreads) and his housemade mixed grill, capped by dessert of flan and alfajores.
It's $65, or $85 with wine/beer pairings.
