Parks on Tap, the pop-up beer garden series, returning even bigger in 2017

Last week's schedule ran 14 weeks. This year, the Parks on Tap will be out for 20 weeks, starting Wednesday, May 17.

Fairmount Park Conservancy, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, and FCM Hospitality say Parks on Tap, the mobile beer garden that launched last summer, will return in 2017.

And it will come back big.

Last week's schedule ran 14 weeks. This year, the Parks on Tap will be out for 20 weeks, starting Wednesday, May 17 during LOVE Your Park Week. It wraps Sunday, Oct. 1.

Parks on Tap roams through the city parks on a schedule, providing food, beer on tap, wine, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages in a festive outdoor environment featuring comfortable chairs and hammocks, clean restrooms, and family friendly activities.

The list of participating parks is being developed, but FCM Hospitality expects to operate for at least 3 to 5 days per location (Wednesdays through Sundays), with some additional 1-day locations throughout the season.

Further updates will be at parksontap.com or myphillypark.org as they become available.
