A cheesesteak burger on a doughnut? Yes

PYT - the Northern Liberties bar - gets an inordinate amount of attention for the burger concoctions it serves on rolls.

Now, it's getting attention for a burger it serves on a doughnut.

The Donut Cheesesteak Burger ($15) is a riff on the Philly cheesesteak, which has captured the fancy of CBS, Fox29, Ryan Seacrest and Parade mag.

PYT owner Tommy Up and chef Kim Malcolm are due to go to New York on Aug. 10 for Fox & Friends to show it off there.

Malcolm starts with a grilled glazed doughnut (which she declines to describe further). To that, she adds a seasoned beef burger topped with melted Cheddar, steak meat, fried onions and Cheez Whiz.

Yes, it's a Whiz wit'.
