Join the 'world's largest' bar crawl

The current Guinness World Record for largest bar crawl is held by Kansas City, Mo., as 4,885 participants visited 10 of 21 participating pubs in an eight-hour time span last year. (It was a benefit for Crawl for Cancer.)

On May 3, Philly2Night.com and UpcomingEvents.com are presenting “The Crawl,” an attempt to shatter the mark. Organizers hope to get 15,000 people. A charity has not yet been announced.

“The Crawl,” an all-day event, will start at noon at more than 100 venues in various city neighborhoods, including Northern Liberties, South Street, Old City, Rittenhouse, University City, South Philly, Northeast Philly, Center City, Midtown Village and Fairmount.
