Here are the Philly bars staying open late during the DNC

The Democratic National Convention has brought later closing times for some of the city’s bars, restaurants, and hotels with it.

Among those with hours extended to 4 a.m. during the DNC: Square 1682, Woody’s, XIX restaurant, and others. Some establishments, such as the Franklin Institute, will close before 4 a.m., though they will operate past their normal closing times.

All told, more than 20 Philly establishments will offer alcohol beyond their normal closing times from July 25 to July 28, thanks to a temporary change to Pennsylvania’s liquor code.

The process for those interested in serving booze past normal closing time ended July 18, with facilities hosting official DNC events able to apply. Several events which were granted permits already occurred, and so have not been included on the list below.

Some establishments were afforded extended hours for the duration of the DNC, while others were awarded extended hours for individual days.

It's also important to note that not all of the events are open to the general public.
