The Continental

At Stephen Starr's Market Street martini bar, 5 to 7 p.m. happy hour is split between the front room, where it happens Monday through Wednesday, and the back, which hosts it on Thursday and Friday. Drink deals are $3 beers, $4 wines and $5 cocktails, accompanied by $4 snacks like a bowl of edamame and $6 small plates, including the famous cheesesteak eggrolls.

National Mechanics
Behind the stately columns at this Second Street bar in a historic 1837 bank building hide some of the most dependable weekday deals in the neighborhood. From 4 to 7 p.m., all drafts are discounted by $1 and $3 is knocked off the price of pitchers. Non beer drinkers can look forward to $2 off the featured drinks of the day.

Khyber Pass Pub
Divey atmosphere notwithstanding, you can count on an interesting lineup on the 22 taps at this Second Street beer destination, and during the 4 to 6 p.m. weekday happy hour, all of them are $2 off. Everything else you care to sip is discounted by $1, and the draft beer pitcher of the day goes for $10.

The Victoria Freehouse
Happy hours vary at Edward Strojan's British pub on Front Street. On Movie Mondays, catch a flick  at 7 p.m. along with enjoy free popcorn and half-price wine. Tuesdays are dedicated to Quizzo, with drink specials after 8 p.m. Thursday's "pie and a pint" $15 deal is available all evening long, while Friday's flight of four 10-oz. pours plus a bar snack for $15 runs 4 to 7 p.m.

The Gaslight
Specialty cocktails that usually run you $10 are just $5 during the weekday 5 to 7 p.m. happy hour at this Jason Cichonski revamp of the former Philadelphia Bar & Restaurant. The "Chips & Dips" are also half-priced, $4 instead of $8 for the small pile of assorted crackers, crisps and chips with a variety of mixtures for dunking.

Revolution House
Take a seat on the deck at this Americana-bedecked bar to catch some rays or choose from bars on two floors while taking advantage of happy hour deals. From 5 to 7 p.m. on weekdays, draft beers are half price, glasses of wine go for $5 and it's just $6 for a wood-fired Margherita Neapolitan pizza.
