Go ‘Shopping with the Chef’ with Ela’s Jason Cichonski

Fans of Queen Village bistro Ela will have a chance to get up close and personal with chef-owner Jason Cichonski when he hosts The Food Trust's "Shopping with the Chef" event next month.

Held as part of The Food Trust's Headhouse Farmer's Market's tenth season, Shopping with the Chef will take place Sunday, June 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is capped at 25 attendees, and tickets are on sale now at a cost of $125, all-inclusive.

Attendees will be treated to a mimosa toast with chef Cichonski at Ela, along with a chef-lead tour of the Headhouse Farmers Market and a three-course brunch back at Ela afterwards. Cocktail pairings will be included with each course.

Proceeds from the Shopping with the Chef event will benefit The Food Trust, which works to provide increased access to healthful food and nutrition education.
