The Fairmount Park Holiday Gingerbread House Display is back at The Shops at Liberty Place for a fourth year through Nov. 21, 2014.

Eleven houses are handcrafted by Philadelphia chefs and modeled after Fairmount Park historic sites.

The Gingerbread House Display is free and open to the public Monday - Saturday, 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. New for 2014, the Shofuso Japanese House and Garden was created in gingerbread form.

The Gingerbread House Display's presenting sponsor is the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

See just how spectacular they are in a video below showing Laurel Hill Mansion, as created by chef Julie Quay of the Montgomery County Community College Culinary Arts Institute.

The gingerbread houses represent the following historic sites in Fairmount Park:

Chamounix Mansion created by Chef Terrance Clarke of Spirit of Philadelphia

Laurel Hill Cemetery created by Chefs Tatum Kendall, Mike Drelling, and Nikki Virbitsky (South Philadelphia)

Lemon Hill Mansion created by Chef Peter Scarola of R2L (Center City Philadelphia)

Strawberry Mansion created by Drexel University's Center for Hospitality (University City)

Sweetbriar created by Chefs Andrea Sonday, Charles Gallagher, and Erica Robinson of Denise's Bakery (North Philadelphia)

Woodford Mansion created by Chef Andrea Histand of Town Crier Bakery (Peddler's Village, Lahaska, PA)

The Holiday Gingerbread House Display remains on view in the Rotunda from November 10 - 21. Pick up information about the Historic Houses of Fairmount Park Holiday Tours at the Gingerbread House Display.

The Gingerbread House Display is a preview event for the annual Historic Houses of Fairmount Park Holiday Tours, December 3 - 30, 2014. Visit Philadelphia's famous 18th- and 19th-century mansions decorated and themed for the holidays.

The six Park Houses participating in the Holiday Tours will be open and decorated for the holidays from December 3 - 30. Fairmount Park Holly Trolley tour of the houses is available on December 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Between stops at the houses, guides will narrate the trolley ride through Fairmount Park with stories of the histories of the house.
