All summer, 10 Arts Bistro & Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton (10 S. Broad St.) will share the techniques behind house-made ingredients, from creamy mozzarella, decadent ice creams and signature BBQ rubs.

Hosted by chef Nathan Volz, mixologists and pastry chefs, 10 Arts’ complimentary “The Art of the Craft” series features an interactive demonstration every Thursday night at 6 p.m.

Held through Aug. 29, “The Art of the Craft” demonstrations are given at 10 Arts’ communal table under the sky-high dome.

During the free events, guests get to taste the featured dish and/or take home the recipe (or a sample). Participants can also enjoy 10 Arts happy hour specials, including $5 wines and light fare. The schedule for the evenings is as follows:

June 27: Classic summer ceviche. Take home a marinade sample.

July 4: Decadent summer ice creams.

July 11: BBQ sauce and dry rubs. Take home a BBQ rub sample.

July 18: Charred tomato & spiced watermelon salad. Take home the recipe & spices.

July 25: 4 Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey tasting. Help us decide on a 10 Arts barrel.

Aug. 1: Three variations of guacamole. Take home the recipe and chip seasoning

Aug. 8: Aged spirits. Taste organic, craft liquor from a bygone era.

Aug. 15: Hawaiian Lau Lau (steamed fish in leaf). Take home the recipe card.

Aug. 22: Distillation 101 with a Pennsylvanian distillery.

Aug. 29: Mini “Asian inspired” pork tacos & kim chi slaw. Take home a bottle of marinade.
