Free corned beef sliders from a Gloucester City pub

The pub will offer complimentary corned beef & Swiss sliders with pickled cabbage slaw to all customers from noon until supplies last.

After 94 years in business, O'Donnells 1923 Pub & Grill (401 N. Broadway in Gloucester City) has received an extensive upgrade and a name change, and it will roll out the modifications during the town's second annual St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 5.

O'Donnell's Restaurant & Bar (est. 1923) - as it's now known - was purchased in July 2015 by Likissa Hunde, an Ethiopian-born educator and economist who emigrated to the United States in 2009. He recently retained the services of chef Darryl Harmon to conceive a new menu while tapping former Twenty Manning Grill sous chef Issaka Fofana to run the kitchen.

Hunde will offer complimentary corned beef & Swiss sliders, served on potato pancakes, with pickled cabbage slaw to all customers from noon until supplies last.
