Dock Street Brewery to release anti-Donald Trump beer series

Dock Street Brewery has lately been hard at work on a series of brews slamming Donald Trump, and we're only a couple a weeks away from tasting its bitter, hoppy efforts.

Dubbed "Short-Fingered Stout," Dock Street's upcoming brew is the first in its "Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Drumpf" series. The beer name comes from Spy magazine's decades-old comments about Trumps hands, while the series' name comes from HBO host John Oliver's viral skit slamming the politician.

"We just can't wrap our well-coiffed heads around a candidate who encourages his supporters to attack protesters at his rallies, wants to limit access to the US based on religion, and flagrantly manipulates facts and data," reads a statement on Dock Street Brewery's website. "Oh yeah, and that ridiculous wall idea? Come on."

Short-Fingered Stout, meanwhile, is described as a "bitter and delusional stout with an airy, light-colored head atop a so-so body." At 4.5 percent ABV, Dock Street says the brew's "bark is worse than its bite," much like the presidential candidate it lampoons.

No exact release date has been announced. However, as the brewery told CBS 3 on Friday, we likely will see Short-Fingered Stout available for purchase "within the next two weeks."

Previously, the brewery brought us "Dock Street Beer Ain't Nothing to Funk With," a funky saison constantly infused with the sounds of the Wu-Tang Clan for several months. Currently, Untappd users rate Funk with 4 out of 5 stars overall.
