Dizengoff to offer dinner on Saturday nights

The three-course, family-style dinners (priced at $60 a head including tax, but not beverage) will be limited to one seating at 7:30 p.m. and 20 guests.

Dizengoff, the popular Center City lunch spot, goes beyond hummus for its new series of Saturday night dinners, starting April 1.

The three-course, family-style dinners (priced at $60 a head including tax, but not beverage) will be limited to one seating, at 7:30 p.m., for 20 guests.

April's menu from chef Elaine Gardner and sous chef Henry Morgan, based on seasonal Israeli home cooking, is here. Drinks will consist of wines, as well as draft beer and new cocktails by Brian Kane, such as the Harif Holiday with gin, carrot, and paprika, and an Arak Punch with lemon, cucumber, and arak (arak is the go-to celebratory drink found all around Israel).

Tickets for the April dinners will go on sale at 7 a.m. Monday, March 13 via Diz's online store. Starting for the May dinners, tickets will go on sale on the 15th of each month.

Additional nights are in the works.
