D'Artagnan, the largest U.S. distributor of foie gras, game meat, organic poultry, pâtés, and sausages, is marking its 30th anniversary with celebratory dinners in its key cities.

The $200-a-head Philadelphia dinner - April 20 at Le Cheri, the tony French restaurant in the Art Alliance on Rittenhouse Square - was a benefit for Philabundance, the food charity.

Le Cheri chef Pierre Calmels was joined in the kitchen by chefs Konstantinos Pitsillides of Kanella, Lee Styer of Fond, and Greg Vernick of Vernick Food & Drink.

Foie gras was featured in the first course; others were king oyster mushroom carpaccio; squab breast and leg confit;  lamb neck filet and grilled lamb ribs, with chocolate with duck bacon for dessert.
