Morey's Piers in Wildwood is looking for a dipping sauce to pair with its signature Curley's Fries.
Starting July 13 (National French Fry Day), the boardwalk attraction will field recipe entries from people 13 years and old at its Facebook page.
The grand prize is $500 cash and free a bucket of fries every week during the summer of 2014.
Contest ends Monday, Sept. 2, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Five finalists will be chosen on Sept. 9, 2013 by Morey’s executive food team based on originality, look, and taste of the recipe and will be invited to attend the Morey’s Piers Super Sunday Celebration on Sept. 29, 2013. At the event, the top five dip recipes will be re-created by Morey’s Piers’ executive chef Wally Jurusz and judged by guests of the piers.
Curley’s Fries has locations in front of both Mariner's Landing and Surfside Piers. Current dipping sauces available on the menu include: ketchup, cheese, vinegar, and cilantro cream.
