A cheesesteak and wine dinner

Joe's Steaks + Soda Shop* in Northeast Philly and Jet Wine Bar on South Street are teaming up for a classic three-course Philadelphia dinner - cheesesteaks, fries, and cupcakes paired with local wines - from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 at Joe's, 6030 Torresdale Ave.

1st Course: Signature Cheesesteak

paired with Pinot Noir from Blair Vineyards, Berks County

2nd Course: Chicken Cheesesteak

paired with Sparkling Chardonnay from Stargazers Vineyard, Chester County

3rd Course: Vanilla-Bean & Strawberry-Compote Cupcake with Strawberry Balsamic Frosting

paired with Pinot Gris from Black Walnut Winery, Chester County
