Bing Bing Dim Sum announces Chinese New Year tasting menu

South Philly dumpling spot Bing Bing Dim Sum will kick off the Year of the Monkey next week with a special Chinese New Year tasting menu.

Debuting Monday, Feb. 8, chef/co-owner Ben Puchowitz's specially crafted menu features four courses, along with two cocktail options and a beer special. Seats run $35, and can be reserved by calling Bing Bing at 215-279-7702.

Tasting menu items include shrimp and crab dumplings, crispy duck leg, and, for dessert, pistachio sponge cake with creamsicle soft serve. Pitchers of Bing Bing's "Harmony" cocktail, which combines rum, blue curacao, and yuzu, are available for an additional $20.
