There's apparently a lot of demand for upscale Sunday brunches in Center City, especially a la carte versions that do not cost upwards of $75 a person.

Enter Davio's, the Italian steakhouse on the second floor at 17th and Chestnut Streets.

After 16 years, Davio's gets into the Sunday brunch game, dragging chef Chris Tavares out of bed starting March 22. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wide-ranging menu includes Davio's signature spring rolls, French Toast Brûlée ($14), Belgian Waffle  ($14), Eggs Sunny Side ($16), and Crab Cake Benedict ($21), as well as Italian food such as panini, Spagettini Carbonara ($19), Potato Gnocchi ($22), and Tagliatelle Bolognese ($24).
