Adelphia Restaurant celebrates National Carrot Cake Day with free carrot cake

Adelphia Restaurant will give away slices of carrot cake for National Carrot Cake day on Feb. 3.

National Carrot Cake Day is coming up on Friday, Feb. 3, and Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, NJ plans to celebrate by giving away slices of the classic dessert for free.

Adelphia Restaurant will give away slices of their carrot cake to customers who dine in on Feb. 3. Individual slices are ordinarily priced at $5.99 a piece.

The New Jersey eatery is also offering deals on whole carrot cakes, which typically run $29.95. For National Carrot Cake Day, the cakes will be priced at $20.

“Our carrot cake is delicious, and it doesn’t come with the typical guilt many people experience when enjoying sweets,” co-owner Evelyn Balis said via a release, “because it’s packed with vitamin K, potassium, biotin, vitamin B6, and vitamin C.”

Adelphia Restaurant (1750 Clements Bridge Road in Deptford) is open 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Fridays. The giveaway and carrot cake sale will last throughout the day.
