A second pop-up for Tela's

Tela's Market & Kitchen, coming to 19th Street and Fairmount Avenue next month, is having a second pop-up dinner at JG Domestic in the Cira Center, on Sept. 29.

The location is no accident, as Tela's executive chef Chad Williams is a former kitchen lieutenant of Jose Garces.

The three-course meal ($85), served family style at 8 p.m., will include a beverage pairing by Brooklyn-based Zev Rovine Selections.

Williams will host similar dinners on weekends at the market.

1st Course

Bell and Evans Chicken Liver Mousse with Crispy Skin

Honey Crisp Apple Salad with Marscapone and Cranberry

Warm “Baby Bloomers” Goat Cheese and Maple Vinegar

 

2nd Course

Hot Smoked Salmon with Fennel Mustard, Beets and Dill

Charred Blooming Glen Farms Brussels Sprouts, Poached Egg and Puffed Rice

Caramelized Onion Gratin with Rye Bread and Savory

 

 

3rd Course

Slow Cooked Creekstone Farm Short Ribs, Crispy Garlic and Preserved Lemon

Wild Maitake Mushrooms with Pine Nut Pesto

Potato Terrine with Salted Butter and Leeks

 

Dessert

Buttermilk Clafoutis, Bee Brothers Honey and Figs
