A Rittenhouse fundraiser, in Washington Square West

The Young Friends of Rittenhouse Square, who work on the square's upkeep, are starting an annual wine-pairing dinner. And they're having the first four-courser on Thursday, Feb. 20 not at some Rittenhouse bistro but on the other side of Broad Street, in Washington Square West, at the Farm and Fisherman (1120 Pine St.).

The Young Friends of Rittenhouse Square, who work on the landmark square's upkeep, are launching an annual wine-pairing dinner as a fund-raiser.

And they're having the first four-course meal on Thursday, Feb. 20 - not at some Rittenhouse bistro but on the other side of Broad Street, in Washington Square West, at the Farm and Fisherman (1120 Pine St.).

The tentative menu calls for a first course of Bloody Beet Steak or New Jersey fluke crudo; a second course of gnocchi or wild boar fleishnecka; a main course of braised short rib oir herb-crusted speckled sea trout or cauliflower steak; with chocolate gianduja or cheesecake for dessert.
