19 East Passyunk Avenue restaurants join forces at Bok Bar for ‘Up on the Roof’

Some of East Passyunk's most prominent restaurants will gather at Bok Bar in the former Bok Technical High School this month for a massive rooftop culinary event.

Dubbed "Up on the Roof… The Chefs of Passyunk at Bok Bar," the event is set to take place Monday, Sept. 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets run $40, and are currently available.

The evening will feature 19 of East Passyunk Avenue's most prominent restaurants and award-winning chefs like Laurel's Nick Elmi, Joncarl Lachman of Noord, and Perla's Lou Boquila. Guests can look forward to hors d'oeuvres and small plates throughout the evening, as well as dishes like whole-roasted pig from Townsend and dessert from Vanilya Bakery.

In addition to food and drink, Bok Bar's "Up on the Roof" event will feature a fall fashion show beginning at 7:30 p.m. It will showcase fashion and accessories from East Passyunk-area shops like Miss Demeanor, Nice Things…Handmade, Fabric Horse, Analog Watch Co., and more.

Also be on the lookout for a raffle with goods from shops including South Philly Comics, Jinxed, and Palo Santo Wellness Boutique, among others.
