Rick Santorum Stood Me Up but He Keeps Me In His Prayers

I wanted an interview. I got prayers.

Rick Santorum Stood Me Up but He Keeps Me In His Prayers

A couple of weeks ago I thought I would see if I could get Santorum on the record clarifying his views about the teaching of evolution. I sent a request through his website. There was an electronic form there that reporters could fill out to request an interview.

He wrote me back the next day, but he seemed to have forgotten the interview. He said wanted money. He’s written every day for the past several weeks. It hasn’t stopped.

I am thinking about the future and am very excited about the possibilities for what we can continue to accomplish together in the fight to defeat Barack Obama and restore our conservative principles to government.

Each day on the campaign trail, I saw the way our campaign gave people a voice in the fight to reverse the destructive course we are on -- thanks to Barack Obama's failed leadership.

I want to continue to be your voice. But first, we must settle our campaign debt.

If you have not donated to our campaign since Tuesday's announcement, I ask that you please CLICK HERE to contribute $25, $50 or even $100 or more to help us quickly retire our debt.  The sooner we erase this burden, the faster we will get back onto the field and fight for our convictions.

During this Presidential race we fought for struggling families, for the unborn and for those losing hope in the American Dream.  We sacrificed almost everything we have to ensure that this hope and dream lives on.

I can see a path before us, a way for us to pick up our torch and hold it high once again and to accomplish in a new way what we set out to do. But before we start down that path, I need you to sacrifice one more time with a donation today of $25, $50 or $100 or more.

I still believe in the dream and I know you do as well.  So please donate today in the amount you can afford.

Thank you.  God bless you, and please keep us in your prayers. And know that we keep you in ours.

You stood me up and you expect me to send money? Well, as a sign of goodwill, I’ll assign Higgs to perform an experimental intercessory prayer to see if he can settle you campaign debt. Please send him a $20 processing fee if it works.
