Adam F. Goldberg, the creator of ABC's Jenkintown-set The Goldbergs, is a massive Flyers fan, and has used his affable sitcom as a platform for all things orange and black. In Wednesday's episode, Barry Goldberg (Troy Gentile) creates a Flyers fashion extravaganza.

In the episode, "Baré," Barry decides he wants to be a doctor, but changes plans when he learns that his girlfriend Lainey (AJ Michalka) has been accepted into a college for fashion that does not have a medical program. To prove that he has the sartorial mettle, Barry dresses his buds up to the nines in an outfit that would make Bernie Parent proud.

Earlier this season, The Goldbergs visited the Spectrum, and last season they paid tribute to Flyers owner Ed Snider after he passed away. The Flyers logo apparently got almost $500,000 of free publicity in its first season

Recently our own Ellen Gray visited the set of The Goldbergs where she uncovered 15 facts about the 1980s-set comedy. For those fiending for even more Goldbergs, a ABC has ordered the pilot for '90s based spin off that will take place at the fictionalized version of William Penn Charter. Goldberg graduated from Penn Charter 1994.

The Goldbergs airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
