Perhaps once every millennia, there is a lip-synch performance so haunting, so enormous in its emotional scope, that it changes the fake singing game forever. Last night, Emma Stone gave us that performance on The Tonight Show.

Stone stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s show to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2, only to be met with a once-in-a-lifetime challenge: Best the show’s host in the lip-synch battle to end all lip-synch battles.

It worked like this: two rounds, one song per participant in each. Fallon, naturally, kicked things off with Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” which Stone followed up with a spirited rendition of Blues Traveler’s “Hook.” From the first note, she secured the round.

Likewise for the second, which featured Fallon’s interpretation of “Mr. Roboto,” which Stone eclipsed with DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win.” Which, as it turns out, seems to be mostly true.
