Blake Shelton introduced Miranda Lambert at a benefit concert in Oklahoma City Wednesday night as "an amazing woman, a compassionate human being, a great talent, oh, and by the way, an amazing wife."

Lambert conveyed just that as she gave an emotionally-poignant performance of her Grammy-nominated song, "The House That Built Me." The country star had to regain her composure several times during the song to wipe away her tears.

The "Healing in the Heartland" benefit, aired live by NBC and hosted by Shelton, a native of Oklahoma, was held to raise funds for United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund. Watch Lambert's performance below.
