The "New York Times" reports that Saturday Night Live will return to TV for its 39th season on September 28 with Tina Fey as the host and Arcade Fire as the musical guest.

The New York Times reports that Saturday Night Live will return to TV for its 39th season on Sept. 28 with Tina Fey as the host and Arcade Fire as the musical guest.

The announcement, made by NBC on Monday, includes the guest lineup for the show’s first three weeks. MTV's latest wild-child Miley Cyrus will play both host and musical guest on October 5. Bruce Willis will host and Katy Perry will perform on October 12.

Fey is currently wrapping up two movie projects, including the new Anchorman film and the latest movie from The Muppets series. Arcade Fire released their new single on Monday to promote their forthcoming album, Reflektor.
