Wait, that is definitely not a crown on the future King of England's head.

The BBC has issued an apology for broadcasting an image of new dad Prince William with a doodle of a penis drawn on his head Thursday morning.

Attentive viewers caught the gaffe - something the company says was "accidentally" shown - during the airing of a promotional video called, "I Could Have Married Kate" from comedy group Barbershopera.

"This image was shown fleetingly within a comedy promotional video for Barbershopera, a humorous barbershop group, who were appearing later on in the program," the statement read.

"We failed to spot the offending material within it. We apologize for this."
