Philly chefs to appear on ‘Beat Bobby Flay’

An upcoming episode of Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay will get a little brotherly love, courtesy of Philly chefs Patrick and Terence Feury.

The Feury brothers are well-known figures in the Philadelphia food world. Patrick helms the kitchen at Nectar in Berwyn, and Terence, an alum of Tavro 13 and Fork, now works at The Grill at Forty 1° North in Rhode Island.

The pair will face off at 10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19,  on an episode of Beat Bobby Flay dubbed “Bro-Down Showdown.” The sibling-themed episode will also feature Michael and Bryan Voltaggio, the winner and runner-up of season six of Bravo's Top Chef, who will decide which Feury faces Flay.

Beat Bobby Flay began airing on Food Network in 2014, and features contenders cooking off against one another before one moves on to the final round against Flay. A panel of judges decides the winning dish, without knowing whether it was cooked by Flay or his competitor.

Folks in Rhode Island can look forward to a viewing party at Terence Feury's Forty 1° North on Jan. 19. In Philly, however, it looks like we’re on our own.
