The New Jersey man who went viral last month for breaking up a fight between two teens in Atlantic City will appear on The Steve Harvey Show today.

Ibn Ali Miller, an Atlantic City resident, student, and father of five, was running an errand during a break between classes when he broke up the fight last month, the Press of Atlantic City reported at the time. The incident, which had two teens squaring off on Atlantic City’s McKinley Avenue, was avoided after Miller told the teens that “y’all the real cowards.”

"Everybody on their phones, y'all the real cowards. Record that, too," Miller said in a video that has since drawn millions of views online. "It ain't cool, man. Y'all in the middle of the street."

Now, Miller tells host Harvey that he stopped the fight because “when I seen those kids, I seen myself.” Miller also told the host that he began attending a local mosque at age 19, where he learned that he could “provide for myself without disgracing my family, or my community, and at the same time, maintain my own dignity.” The teens who were involved in the fight that Miller stopped will also appear on the show.

Miller’s episode of Steve Harvey airs locally today at 2 p.m. on NBC10.
