LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - Jim Gaffigan's CBS pilot will finally air - but not on CBS.

TV Land has given a 10-episode order to Gaffigan's comedy with Peter Tolan, which had previously been developed by CBS.

The single-camera comedy, which was created by Gaffigan and Tolan, is inspired by Gaffigan's real life, exploring one man's struggle in New York City to find a balance between fatherhood, stand-up comedy and an insatiable appetite.

The series, now dubbed "The Gaffigan Show," will co-star Ashley Williams as Gaffigan's wife. Adam Goldberg and Michael Ian Black also co-star as Jim's best friend and his wife's meddling confidante, respectively.

"The Gaffigan Show" is scheduled to premiere next year.

"We love Jim Gaffigan's brand of humor. The second we saw this show we knew we wanted it on TV Land," TV Land president Larry Jones said. "The audience that TV Land is targeting is Gen Xers who are raising families so we love that this show reflects their world. Only funnier."

The series will also air on Comedy Central, where Gaffigan has a large, loyal fan base, with episodes airing a week after they premiere on TV Land.
