Gov. Chris Christie has landed his first role on a sitcom. As himself.

The New Jersey Governor's office confirmed a Huffington Post story Monday that revealed Christie will appear on an episode of NBC's new comedy "The Michael J. Fox Show" this fall.

Christie is running for a second term this year.

The exact air date of the episode is unknown. The Michael J. Fox Show will premiere Sept. 26.
