‘Good Morning America’ coming to Philly tomorrow for ‘Deals & Steals’

Good Morning America will be in Philadelphia Tuesday as part of the show’s “Deals & Steals on Wheels” segment, which began an on-location tour this week, and they want you in the audience.

The morning show’s Tory Johnson will be at the Liberty View Terrace (second floor of the Independence Visitor Center, 1 N. Independence Mall W.) on Tuesday for a “Deals & Steals” segment starting at 6:45 a.m. According to a release, Johnson will offer deals on “Pennsylvania-based products.”

Passes to the event are free and available online now, but are not required to attend the filming. As a ticketing page notes, those with passes will be considered VIPs for the segment’s live audience. The filming area, however will be “open to ticket holders and walk-ups,” and the first 200 attendees will receive free GMA T-shirts.

Check-in the for event starts at 6 a.m., and organizers ask that attendees arrive early to allow for parking and security, which includes a metal detector. 

GMA today kicked off a week of “Deals & Steals” touring, starting off in Chicago. The tour will run through May 5, and also includes stops in Tampa and Dallas.

In addition to the Philly-filmed “Deals & Steals” segment, GMA on Tuesday will feature an appearance from actor Kurt Russell, who appears in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. GMA airs on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on ABC.
