Philadelphian-by-marriage Kaitlin Olson will continue to be fully employed.

Fox has  ordered a second season of The Mick, which airs at 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and stars Olson, who's married to her It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia co-star,  St. Joe's Prep grad Rob McElhenney. In The Mick, Olson plays Mickey, a small-time grifter -- or as Fox prefers to call her, a "total degenerate" -- who's pressed into service as the responsible adult for her nieces and nephews when her sister and billionaire brother-in-law flee the country to avoid authorities.

"Kaitlin is a fearless comedic force," said Fox entertainment president David Madden in announcing the renewal Tuesday.

Fans of FXX's It's Always Sunny  shouldn't worry about Olson spreading herself too thin.

"We shoot Sunny in about two months, a little over two months. So I do that in the springtime. This show would never bump up against that. I’ll be able to do both of them," Olson told reporters last month during the Television Critics Association's winter meetings.
