What’s good for the duck is good for the drake. And that’s all gravy for the Robertsons.

Duck Dynasty made its season four debut in soaring fashion., drawing a rather astounding 11.8 million viewers, making it the most watched “non-fiction” program in cable history. Wait, you mean Uncle Si actually exists?

There was a time, not long ago, when it was believed Jon + Kate = 8’s peak of 10.6 million viewers would never be broken. Quack, quack.

Last night’s decidedly emotional episode, which saw Robertson patriarch, Phil renew his wedding vows with Miss Kay, drew 37% more than last year’s season opener.

As with migrating water fowl, the sky’s the limit.
