That didn't take long.

Philadelphia's David Boreanaz, whose 12-season run starring opposite Emily Deschanel in Fox's Bones ends on Tuesday in a finale he directed, already has his next role in sight, reports Deadline.

The Malvern Prep grad, the son of retired 6ABC weather forecaster Dave Roberts, is replacing Jim Caviezel (Person of Interest) as the lead in a CBS pilot about Navy SEALs in which he'll play "the respected, committed leader of his assault team who’s been through over a dozen deployments, with scars inside and out," according to Deadline. Boreanaz will also be a producer on the project.
