The Boy Scouts are preparing to end their ban on gays. And our military has just decreed that women can take combat roles.
Of course, this set off a howl of righteous objections. And that knee-jerk reflex was irresistible to The Daily Show.

Alright, I wasn’t too crazy about that Officer and a Gentleman coda, but I loved when she clicked her fingers to return us to Mayberry.
Hmm, wonder if that Ben & Jerry’s she’s spooning is the new flavor they developed for the Thursday finale of 30 Rock?
