On Tuesday, a press conference was held at New York’s Highline Ballroom where the acts for Rock the Bells 2013 festival were revealed.
Some of the big hip-hop names slated to perform for the two-day traveling concert are Common, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Juicy J, Kid Cudi, Tyler, The Creator, Wu-Tang Clan and many more.
The primarily hip-hop based event is looking to change it up this year by offering a more diverse roster of acts. In 2007, the festival billed Rage Against the Machine as a headliner. This year, they’re welcoming in more electronic-driven acts like Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Chase & Status and Mimosa.
The annual festival–which has its roots in California–will travel locally to Washington, D.C. and New York City in the fall. A trip worth making.
